I have several friends that liked my dish clothes . They stated that they would love to have one. I thought I would be fun to have them pick out their yarn and I would show them how to make their own. It didn't work out like I hoped. My plan was for them to make them. Their plan was for me to make them. Can you guess who won?
I love crocheted kitchen rags, they work so well.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job and my bet is that you lost!
really nice blog!
Your right, I did. I love them too. They work so well for my dishes.
DeleteSo how many did you end up making?
ReplyDeletefour so far. But I have 3 more to make.
DeleteI love crocheted dish cloths too. They are not hard to make, friends missed an opportunity to learn something good!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. They really are fun to make.
DeleteI have so many folks here that prefer the knitted thickness. At first I felt horrible that they didn't like my crocheted ones, but oh well. My Aunt loves both kinds and uses the thicker ones for bigger jobs and car washing. I can crochet a lot faster than knit.
ReplyDeleteKnitting takes so much longer for me. Probably because I don't do it very often.
DeleteAhem, I think you forgot one. What about me???
ReplyDeleteYou know how to make them. But I did make you some homemade vanilla.
DeleteThat is funny! You are a good friend! :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I had to laugh at Heidi's comment!!
She is the only one that learned how to make them. We did some last year.
DeleteI'm just learning to crochet and you tell me how to make
ReplyDeletethese and what kind of yarn did you use?
Thanks!!!
It might be easier to go on you tube. They have step by step videos you can watch. I use sugar and cream brand yarn for my wash clothes. It seems to hold up the best.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the crocheted dish cloths. It's mostly what we use in our kitchen. They are thick and lovely. I just hang mine by the fire to dry :-)
ReplyDeleteYour work is lovely. Lucky friends!
Thanks Michelle-I will check out you tube.
