Home away from home

My husbands parents are Snow birds and spend about 3 to 4 months a years in Quartside Arizona. They have several friends that join them there. One of their friends Amy and her husband decided to make their trailer feel more like a home. It turned out so cute that I had to share their  little piece of home away from home with everyone.

They use the electric fireplace at night for heat to help save on propane. It also gives the room a warm cozy feeling.
I would need a bigger TV. ( Old age and old eye sight.LOL). The mirror window has hooks to hang your keys and purses.

A Great place to sit and read a good book.
The kitchen is in the back of the trailer; which gives you plenty of counter space and working room.
Amy set the table at an angles to give them a little more sitting room. All the windows have white lace curtains that open up the space and brightens it up.
I got a lot of ideas from her to work into our own trailer. I'll let you know how it all works out.

  1. This is really nice. Is it a camper type trailer? I used to love camping in those. Cozy, just enough for two plus a granddaughter. This one looks much bigger.

    1. It is a camping trailer. It's only 25 feet. But by using the curtains she opened it up and made it look bigger. She also took down the fabric valences over the windows.

  2. This camper is so cozy and cute! My parents have a travel trailer and love it!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet note. :)

  3. Your parents camper is just darling! It looks like a doll house and I'm sure they love it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  4. That is really cute! It does make it look like "home!" :)

  5. Great article. I'm dealing with many of these issues as well..
