This is what happen when I am bored.

I was left on my own to come up with ways to entertain myself. So I started dreaming about my future homestead. Which lead to looking up images on the internet. So welcome to my  dream homestead. Kathy my ex sister-in-law (now a great  friend) lived in a house just like this. I have always loved that house. Now it's on my dream homestead.
A course I have to have a barn. I have always loved red barns with white trim. This one is perfect..
Everyone need a green house. It,s just part of life.
Doesn't my dream veggie garden look great.I just wish my real one looked this good.Ok, I know it's winter.
                                                                 He's watching you.
I may have the goat before the homestead. My husband is thinking about getting a miniature .

I love baby pigs.they are so cute.
I already have the chickens. That,s a good start.
This is a must.We have to have wood surrounding the 5 areas. Well there you have it. My own little dream homestead. I am now putting this in my draft folder. If you see this, you will know I couldn't come up with something to post. Or I was just to lazy to write something. HA HA

  10. Hi! Thank you for awarding us the Versatile Blogger Award! I didn't notice it at first, so I apologize for taking so long to respond. The Tabby Cat blog is a club of many bloggers, so I wasn't sure if it is meant for me, or for the club as a whole. My blog is http://twinkletoetails.blogspot.com if you would like to visit and see if that is the blog you were thinking of awarding it to. Its all about kitties, and we would love to see you there! Take care, purrs & head bumps!

  11. It's a lovely dream home Michelle! The house reminds me of my grandparent's homestead. My dad grew up on a dairy farm, but sadly the house and all of the out-buildings have long since been torn down and the area is now commercial. Progress. Humpf. :~(

I'm in a city neighborhood, but it's an old city and when our house was built in 1869, it was the only house on (what is now) the block. I guess you'd call it a combination between a Victorian and a farmhouse style. I've lived in both new construction and in an older house and I'll take the old house every time!

Thanks for sharing a piece of your dream! Have a great weekend! Mary :~)
