My friend Jackie afford me her machine for 50 dollars. That was a offer I couldn't refuse. I had one years ago. But never tried using it. I hope to be able to use this one.
If you look close you can see the draws are different. But that ok with me. I think it adds to the charm of the piece. I love the design on the foot pedal .
These are the pieces that came with it. I am going to have to do some research on them and how they work.
This is its new home for now. I don't have room in my quilt room for it. Which is a good thing because I love it in this spot. I think Cleo agrees
Look so nice!
ReplyDeleteNeat Michelle. I love the look it gives. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteIt's always great fun to tinker with something new! Even if you never use it, it's a nice addition to the antique collection.
ReplyDeleteI't beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteMy girlfriend gave me her old Singer treadle a few years ago, it does take some practice to get it going right! I found a manual for mine online.
Hi Michelle! Come on back over to my blog as I have the pattern link now. Someone was so nice to send it to me. I love that olden machine. I have my grandmother's and it looks almost like that one.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love it Michelle! The drawers a perfect. Mine is missing 2 drawers, one on each side, but I don't care either. It shows that it was loved and used at one time.
