Frugal living : Lunch made from leftovers

we
I stared watching frugal and debt free living videos on You Tube. Which lead me to wonder how much money we wasted a month. Let's just say my mouth dropped open !  I never realized how easy it was to  spend  mindlessly.  So I made myself a challenge to pay attention to what I spent and what I spent it on.  This food saving ideal came from that.  Plus these turned out to be delicious. Next time I make Taco Soup I will defiantly save some for lunches again.

  1. I think this is a great way to be. We try to spend cash for most things. I know that keeps me from spending so much. Some how when I use my charge card I can spend way too much - just charge it! ;) I'm trying to be a better steward of my money. Thanks for popping in to see me.

  2. I've been looking at Depression Era recipes this year. With the loss of our garden (98% of it) I have to cut corners on what we buy to stock up with.

  3. I love rooting around int he kitchen and making something out of "nothing". It's amazing how much "nothing" we have to eat in there!
