Have you ever just been tired ?

I am running on empty. I use to love doing my Blog and you couldn't get me off Facebook or YouTube. Now I am hardly on I just don't have the desire. I still will get on my blog at least once a week to read the blogs I am following, but I can't seem to get up the energy  to leave a comment.  Most of the time  if I am honest,  it has to do with the fact that I never see these people on my blog and feel they could care less about what I have to say. And sometimes I just don't have anything to contribute  to the post. The same is true for face book.  I will go on the games I use to play and answer request, but that's about it. I am just not into playing the games any longer. It's like a switch has been turned off. Is there such a thing as media over load?

  1. There is such a thing as media overload. I'm believe it or not distancing myself. It can be very depressing for sure! I watch and read your posts....I'm here and will try to comment more to let you know it,..Just in case you forget..Love you Michelle...<3

  2. I do believe there is a point of too much social media. I limit myself to my blog - no facebook, twitter, chat rooms etc.

  3. I know and understand. Sometimes we just get burned out. I've been blogging since 2008, I can't believe it, and I'm kinda tired myself at the moment. I too don't go to FB like I used to. We need a break! You take your break and just blog when you want to. I'll always try to pop in.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  4. Hi Michelle, I think it is entirely possible to be on overload in our times. I am choosing what occupies my time, and what my mind has access to. We are not designed to be plugged in and filled to the brim with all this information and noise. Set some quiet time for you, choose what you think is best for you among your choices. People are not visiting, or commenting because they are overwhelmed with what they are taking in their own lives, there is no time to blog or comment because they are so busy trying to be everywhere doing everything. It's ok to unplug and work within your limits. You have a lovely blog, and I encourage you to continue because as more of us unplug, we will look for substance and quality not all the glitters is gold. Hang in there. I was feeling really tired also, and was told I have low thyroid. Look into Kelp.

  8. I almost get tired just listening to all the things you do. I don't know how you do it. But I sure admire it.
